Infrared light module SM-IR-16 |
The light module SM-IR-16 is no longer available!
Description
The infrared light module SM-IR-16 is an expansion module for our sound module USM-RC.With this expansion module lights and servos of a truck-trailer/semitrailer can be controlled wireless. The transmission of light signals take place with infrared diodes. This means no cable from the truck to the trailer/semi-trailer is required. The wireless transmission requires a separate battery in the trailer/semitrailer.
Because of the various possibilities of the infrared light module, it can be used not only as a light module.
Many other applications are feasible.
The SM-IR-16 has 16 switching outputs for e.g. lamps and LEDs. 7 of the 16 outputs are a copy (signal transduction) of the 7 switching outputs of the USM-RC. For the remaining 9 outputs, separate functions are available such as a 1- and 4-channel rotating beacon, a 4- and 8-channel chaser light and various flasher.
In addition to 16 switching outputs, there are also 2 servo outputs available. With this 2 servos you can easily control different movements. Applications are for example movements of a semi-trailer landing gear, locking/unlocking of a seat post, tilting movements of a dump truck and many other motions.
The speed of all lights and servos are adjustable by a trimmer.
More information can be found in our operating manual (PDF 260kB).
