could you maybe film a video of the connecting process you're taking (upload to Youtube, then link it here) so that an error (if any) can be seen?
Maybe this is easier than to just write and sometimes other persons see things oneself doesn't.

do I need to have 3 LM-BT-S connected in the truck and if so hoe would I do it.

No, only one LM-BT-S is connected to the truck.

The second LM-BT-S is connected to the first LM-BT-16-4.

The third LM-BT-S is then connected to the second LM-BT-16-4.

No further LM-BT-S is connected to the third LM-BT-16-4.
