Standby switch doesn’t work?
Hi There. My standby switch connection doesn’t work. The SFR-1 is working regardless of the switch position. I have disconnected the standby plug (unit still working) and tested the switch wiring. A continuity test shows the circuit is making / breaking as it should. Your thoughts appreciated!

I found there was voltage getting back to the board from a receiver ESC connection. After fitting nearly 50 of these units it just goes to show every day is still a learning day!!

Re: Standby switch doesn’t work?
The standby switch simply turns off the internal BEC voltage (to which the SFR-1 processor is also connected).
However, if a different BEC voltage is applied to the SFR-1 from an external source, the processor remains powered on and the SFR-1 continues to operate normally. The standby switch then becomes inactive.
It should always be avoided to connect multiple BEC voltages within the model!
