Hello Members
I have SFR-1-D in a tank and I am using a continuously rotating servo to control the cannon barrel lift (up / down). Whilst the physical adaptation works well, I would like to know if anyone has used one of these on the SFR-1-D and how they configured it. Just plugging it in to the board causes continuous rotation, which doesn't surprise me. Can its movement be controlled? Thanks for reading and regards, Colin.
Can I use a continuously rotating servo?

Re: Can I use a continuously rotating servo?
Hello Colin,
a continuously rotating servo will behave like a ESC. If you configure the home position to its neutral position, typically 1500 or sometimes 1520 µs, the servo should not move. The value of the other position will define the speed of the rotation.
You must enable "Automatic return to home position, if no other position is selected" to ensure the servo will stop if no other position is selected!
