Right Indicator stopped working

Hi All,
I have left and right indicators on both the front and rear of my truck. The Right indicators stopped working on both the front and rear of the truck. The left indicators still work.

Tested:
1. Check all the connection
2. checked LEDs, good LEDs
3. Used an output checker to test ports
4. Move the right indicator from output 5 and 13 to different outputs.
5. Used an output checker to test ports (the right indicators did not work on any other outputs)
4. When reversing, all 4 hazard indicators work: left front, left rear, right front, right rear
5. The left indicators have not experienced any issues.

I'm not sure what happened, it was working, then it wasn't.

Hello,

I don't see anything in the configuration that would explain why the right indicator won't work. Please try the following:

- Make sure to save the project to your PC.
- Put the SD card into the PC.
- Format the SD card through the Sound Teacher (SD Card > Formatting SD Card).
- Open the project file from the PC.
- Save the project to the SD card.
- Close the Sound Teacher.
- Eject the card through Windows.
- Put the SD card back into the SFR-1.

If that doesn't help please record a diagnostic, see pages 96-98 in the manual.

Activate the following functions as shown:
- Left indicator on
- Left indicator off
- Right indicator on
- Right indicator off
- Hazard lights on
- Hazard lights off

Then upload the file here for us to check.

I will do that and get back to you. After reading through some other posts, I will try a different SD card as well.

Also, I know, I shorted out a couple of ports on the SFr1, when I first got it, about a couple of years ago, are there repair options to get them fixed?

I went thru all the test steps, to no avail. Attached, is the diagnostic results.

According to the diagnosis, your steering angle is very asymmetrical.
Left: 55
Right: 28

Therefore, the steering threshold (40) for automatic indicator is not reached on the right side.

Change the steering threshold in the Sound-Teacher to e.g. "20".

Hi Rascal,

Ok, that makes sense. I did have to reconfigure the steering servo and that's probably when that occurred. I will definitely lower the steering threshold and give that a try.

Normally it is not a problem to repair a defect in our modules.

When it comes to returns from non-EU countries, customs is the biggest problem

• Here we need a copy of the invoice if you did not purchase the module from us.
• You must indicate on the customs documents that it is a return shipment.
• Enter the value of the goods as 1 EUR on the customs documents.
