Tamiya recoil with SFR 1 HL

Hi Andy, I am currently reviewing a SFR 1 HL and building it in a Tamiya Sherman.
This tank has no recoil, but other Tamiya tanks do, and I wonder how to connect it.

When writting for the SFR 1 D, Evelyn told me one wire goes to positive, other to negative and the third to one of the light outputs and I have to select "pulse" option.

Well, I wonder if there is another way with the SFR 1 HL. Would it be possible to connect it to the 5 pin flash port, or to the BB gun port, and the third signal cable to an output?

Hello Rad,

never tested but maybe it works:

• SFR-1-HL X15/5: Plus (Tamiya recoil unit: green)
• SFR-1-HL X15/3: Minus (Tamiya recoil unit: blue)
• SFR-1-HL X3/x: Pulse (Tamiya recoil unit: white)

Hey, for the people that might read this, small update. Tested it and works, but you have to install a couple of diodes for lowering the voltage, otherwise the barrel recoils non stop.

Super happy now.
