Anybody here successfully configure cannon elevation using servo? I know most of people are using motor for simplicity and natively supported by Beier SFR-1-D. However, I want to use my gimbal module for Gun Stabilization feature. Unfortunately, the component only works with servo, not motor.
Thanks for reading/sharing.
Cannon elevation with SFR-1-D
Re: Cannon elevation with SFR-1-D
Hello,
how do you normally control the gimbal - via switch or stick/potentiometer?
If stick/potentiometer - does it need to latch to hold the cannon in the desired elevation (ignoring the stabilization), or does the stick/potentiometer go back to neutral after selecting the elevation (cannon then remains in that position)?
Do you still have a receiver channel available and a free prop input at the SFR?

Re: Cannon elevation with SFR-1-D
You're right. I got the problem fixed with assigning the channel to a stick that can hold the position, not automatically return home.
All are fine now!
Thanks a lot
