SFR-1 stopped working

Grateful for any help please..
SFR-1 fitted a year now - no issues. Stopped working today. On switch on it plays my startup function for about 3 seconds, stops, red led flashes five times, then resets. Repeats this cycle.
Battery is good. No config changes made prior to the failure. In fact it was working fine for about five minutes before it just stopped. Firmware is v1.30c.

EDIT: Also, USB data connection has failed: can't find / not turned on.. Normally works fine.

UPDATE: Tried reformatting card - no good. Tried a different card - no good. Module just keeps restting aftera couple of seconds. Data cable can't connect.

Any advice appreciated.

Hello Colin,

try formatting the SD card via the Sound-Teacher and save the project again to the SD card.
If the problem repeats try another SD card.

Thanks Rascal. I've tried that and used a different card. It still won't work. What do the 5 red flash leds mean?

but the flashing changes when you unplug the SD card?

5 flashes means the processor cannot read a file from the SD card.

If possible, email me the complete contents of the SD card to modellbau@beier-electronic.de
