Hi, sorry if this is already answered. I have connected a Tow Truck Actuator ESC to Prop #6 via a 3 way switch. I would like to play a sound (hydraulic pump sound) as log as the actuator moves.
I have in the sound the Additional sound->Sound from servo 1 left (and right).
If I tick Loop / Complete, it plays the hole sound. Any other of them just plays a very short click.
So my question is it possible to play a tune as long as the switch are in "up" or "down" position
Kind Regards
Reidar
Play a sound as long as servo moves
Re: Play a sound as long as servo moves
Hello Reidar,
select "Sound when not in home position" instead of "Sound at servo movement".
See also the manual on page 79:
Therefore use the following option:
select "Sound when not in home position" instead of "Sound at servo movement".
See also the manual on page 79:
"Moving" here refers to the signal output and how a servo will behave: when the servo output is activated the signal output changes until the desired position has been reached, at which point the signal will become steady. When a steady position is reached a servo would stop moving while an ESC will maintain a constant speed (hence the actuator still moves). Once the signal is steady the sound stops.Sound at servo movement
If this option is activated, the additional sound for the servo will be played as long as the servo is moving.
Therefore use the following option:
Sound when not in home position
With this function the additional sound will always be played, if the servo is not in home position.
This version is very well suitable if you are using a speed controller with motor instead of a servo. In home position (1,500ms) the motor is switched off and no sound is played. For example, if position #1 is set to 1,800ms and you “select“ this position, the motor will turn and you can play a corresponding sound.
