EMS-24-G in FrSky Taranis X9D Plus
Verfasst: Sa 12. Jun 2021, 15:13
I am installing the EMS-24-G into a FrSky Taranis X9D Plus to use with my USM-RC-2. ]]
I have a problem with identifying the colour coding of the wiring between the transmitter and the multi-switch and would be grateful for help, please.
The Beier colour coding on the EMS-24-G is:
Positive - Orange
Ground - Brown
Signal - Red
On the Taranis, the testing I've done suggests the following:
Positive - Orange
Ground - Red
Signal - Brown.
I've done a circuit continuity test to establish that the ground is Red on the Taranis. A voltage was seen on the Orange lead when I applied power to the Taranis, suggesting that it is the Positive.
Can anyone with experience of FrSky radios help by confirming what I've discovered?
I see on the EMS multi switch page on the website that the EMS G models have been tested with a FrSky Q7 with OpenTX. I would like to know what to select in the configuration menu as the switch type. My EMS-24-G replaces POT S1.
Thank you very much.
