Also vielen Dank für deine schnelle Hilfe.

Einstellungen:
Steuerung der Stützen soll über Prop #2 laufen. Die statischen Positionen A (IR Servo 1 Pos 1) und D (IR Servo 1 Pos 2) sind eingerichtet, die Timing-Werte sind Standard. Der Servo-Ausgang 1 des SM-IR-16-2 ist eingestellt auf:
- Grundstellung: 1500 ms
- Pos 1: 1700 ms
- Pos 2: 1200 ms
- Haken bei "Automatisch in Grundstellung ..." ist gesetzt

Mein Problem:

Hi
I am also trying to understand how to use the Motor connection on an LM-BT-16-4 to operate trailer legs. I already have the Tamiya Motorised legs fitted but I am curious about using the BT modules motor connection. I also have an MFR-1210 spare if that was useful.

If I was to link the legs motor to the BT module is there a way to get the motor to travel only as far as needed and then stop? and then reverse only so far? I am thinking like getting a motor to act like a server and turn only, say, 450 degrees and then stop?

Thanks for your help

Ray

The Lightmodule has an ESC built-in, so you do not need a separate ESC to use the motor connection. Connect the motor directly to the motor output and use the functions "LM: Motor up" and "LM: Motor down" to make the motor turn left or right, or use the direct control via a Prop channel. See Configuration > Light module > Light module Motor if you need proportional control over the motor speed.

You can't control the angle but the time the motor runs using a Function sequence and the above mentioned functions ("LM: Motor up / down") if you do not require proportional control over the motor speed.

Hi Rascal
Thank you for your help with getting my Trailer Legs to work with the motor on the Bluetooth module.
I have created two Function sequences
- Sequence #2 turns on Motor down for 3 seconds and then turns off Motor Down
- Sequence #3 turns on Motor up for 3 seconds and then turns off Motor up
Both of these work “once” and are “retriggerable”
I have assigned them to Prop 10 (Channel 10 on my Flysky FS-I6X which is a two state switch either Up or Down). I would like switching the up state to trigger Function #3 and the down state to trigger #2. I was able to get that to work with Short-in position and Long in position but it is not very intuitive.
QUESTION
How do I get changing the switch on the FS-I6X to “down” to trigger sequence #2 and change the switch to up to trigger sequence #3?
Thanks again for your help

Ray

Hello Ray,
RayC hat geschrieben: Mo 9. Okt 2023, 22:08 Both of these work “once” and are “retriggerable”
“Retriggerable” will allow to interrupt the running function sequence and start it again from step 1. I don't see the need for this here, if retriggered it will just extend the running time of the motor and force the legs into slipping.
I have assigned them to Prop 10 (Channel 10 on my Flysky FS-I6X which is a two state switch either Up or Down).
Is that an OFF-ON switch or an ON-ON switch?

If you are not sure connect a servo to a stick channel and put the stick to neutral so the servo centers itself. Then connect the servo to channel 10 of your receiver - does the servo horn move between neutral and one side only when you toggle the switch -> OFF-ON, or from side to side (passing over neutral) -> ON-ON?

If the switch is OFF-ON make one function sequence only and add a loop with one step doing nothing ("-"). The steps before the loop make the motor turn one direction for 3 seconds and the steps after the loop make the motor turn the other direction for 3 seconds. I suggest the OFF position should be legs up and ON should be legs down.

Hi Rascal
Thanks yet again for your help.
I got the functionality I was looking for by:
- creating one Sequence with six steps
LM: Motor Down On 3.00s
LM: Motor Down Off 0.01s
- On 0.01s
LM: Motor Up On 3.00s
LM: Motor Up Off 0.01s
- On 0.01s

Steps 6
Loop Start 3
Loop End 3
Loop / immed. stop

In Prop 10 I have Function sequence 2 in A and D for "In Position (static)"

Thanks again for your help
Next I will refine the sequence by adding activate the 5th wheel

Hi Rascal
Thais is an update for any other newbie like me trying to do this :D

To get the Function sequence and the 5th wheel servo to work together I had to use a Multi Function on the Configutation>General tab

I have set this to run Function sequence 2 as described above and then run Servo 1 Position 1 which lifts and opens the 5th wheel. In servo outputs you have to Activate servo output 1 (I have Position #1 set to 1165).
I have also ticked the box for "Auto return to home position, if no other position selected"
To be safe I have also ticked "Can only be changed when standing".

I also had to open my truck to change the servo from the radio receiver to the Servo 1 on the SFR1

Rascal, Congrats to the team. The Beier products I am using are superb and just take some time (and inspiration from you ) to understand what can be done. I feel like I am only scratching at the surface
